Vision
DEVELOP SPIRITUAL MATURITY
We must grow stronger as men of God so that
we can be effective and
dynamic leaders in
our homes, on our jobs,
and in our communities.
LIVE AS STRANGERS TO THE WORLD
We must clearly understand that our existence
in this world is temporary
and as Christians
we were never meant to
fit in. We need to
be comfortable in our position
as strangers
in this world. 1 John 2:15-17
says "Love
not the world, neither
the things that are
in the world. If any man
love the world,
the love of the father
is not in him. For
all that is in the world,
the lust of the
flesh, the lust of the
eyes, and the pride
of life, is not of the
Father, but is of
the world. And the world
passes away, and
the lust thereof; but he
that does the will
God abides forever."
LIVE GENUINE AND CONSISTENT LIVES
We must be real and consistent examples in
walking with God. We should
be the same at
church as we are at home
and on our jobs.
PROVIDE SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGEMENT TO ONE
ANOTHER
Due to a variety of influences, men often
find it difficult to open up. The vision
of the men's group is to provide an environment
that will encourage discussion, sharing,
encouragement, accountability, prayer support
and fellowship.
